Class A Music: Bio

Class A Music Productions was founded in 1987 by Lisa D. Nelson in Nashville, TN as a subsidiary of the corporation, Nelson Enterprises, Inc. Class A Music was located to White Plains, NY in 1994.
Over the years, Class A Music emerged as the main focus of musical services and eventually incorporated all of the productions and publishing services into one umbrella.
Class A Music was born out of the work of our founder who has for over 25 years provided various musical services playing for and opening for artists such as Jennifer Holliday, Anita Baker, Barbara Mandrell, Bobby Jones and New Life, Kirk Franklin, Kurt Carr, Donnie McClurkin, Kim Burrell, Shirley Caesar, Albertina Walker, Chicago Mass Choir, OLanda Draper and the Associates, Ricky Dillard and New G, and several others.
She has performed on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Gospel Stellar Awards, The GMA Dove Awards, the Country Music Awards, and several notable venues such as Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Class A Music through Nelson Enterprises promoted several concerts and events including Commissioned, OLanda Draper and Father Charles G Hayes and Choir in Nashville, TN. Class A Music through Nelson Enterprises first established the careers of Rev. Lawrence Thomison and Ann McCrary.

Our company has songs published with several major companies such as Benson/Brentwood, Word/Gaylord Entertainment, Kenneth Copeland, Warner/Chappell Music.

We are an ASCAP affliated Publisher, an independent record label and licensed production and publishing company.
